Transforming a Three-Unit Building into Modern Rental Housing

In Providence’s Fox Point neighborhood, we transformed a three-unit property into modern rental housing through a full-scale redevelopment and the addition of a basement accessory dwelling unit. The goal was to maximize the property’s potential while creating durable, thoughtfully designed living spaces suited for one of Providence’s most competitive rental markets.

The building was fully gutted and reconfigured, allowing for complete modernization of the interiors, infrastructure, and layout. The new basement ADU added density and functionality without compromising the character or livability of the primary residences above. Each unit features clean architectural lines, open layouts, and contemporary finishes designed to balance comfort, efficiency, and long-term durability.

Behind the walls, the property received all-new plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and utility systems to improve performance, reduce maintenance demands, and support long-term ownership value. From planning and permitting through construction and project delivery, our team managed every phase of the redevelopment to create a refined multi-unit property tailored for modern urban living.
